Sensei Smith travels to Morocco |

| Over the 2006 Christmas period,
Sensei traveled to Casablanca and Marrakesh amongst other destinations in
beautiful Morocco. Sensei Luqman Abdul Hakeem, 6th Dan
Shidoin, Aikido School of Maghreb, welcomed Sensei Smith with open arms and
an open heart to his dojo where he found many enthusiastic and extremely
technically proficient Aikidoka. Sensei was received by the students warmly
and before he had even left, sensed that they were keen for him to return
again.
Sensei Luqman seemed to have more than 60 students and Sensei Smith was fortunate to be able to teach 3 classes while there at 3 dojos. He was also amazed to see the dojo that Sensei Luqman had built under his own home! Sensei Smith has also mentioned how high the standard of Aikido is under the guidance of Sensei Luqman and how impressed he was with the energy and life within the dojos there.
